The brief was to make an engaging app to encourage trial of Nokia’s Ovi Maps service for the male 30-45 year old TomTom loyalist. Introducing Dad’s Cabs – the world’s #1 taxi service for sports practice, dance class and music lessons. Kids treat you like a taxi service? Now you can act like one with a taximeter on your mobile. Use your Nokia’s GPS to rack up an accurate fare, then slap on a range of extra annoyance tolls, like a Squabbling over the front seat fee or a Mocking my music toll. And in case your passenger is short on pocket money, let them choose from a range of kid-friendly payment options, like kissing you in public or making them ring Gran. Since it addition two months ago, Dad’s Cab has had over 40,000 downloads and is in the top 5 recent App adds for Nokia globally. We’re currently converting the miles and pounds into kilometres and euros for Dads (and Mums) across Europe. |
